{Beauty Tuesday} Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain

Okay, at this point I have a well  documented love of lip gloss. Here, here and here are some of my favorites. Well after a major haul at Ulta a few weeks ago I have a new favorite lip product (okay I actually have a few, but I'm only sharing one with y'all today)

Thanks to Birchbox, a few months ago I fell in love with the Tarte Lip Stains (again here), but I found a dupe, and I'm OBSESSED.

It's a jumbo pencil, that glides on. Tons of shine, moisturizing and super pigmented. What else could you want.

I picked it up in this bright pink color... and let me tell you it's bright (in a great way)

Revlon Just Bitten in Sweet Heart

I'm a huge fan of a statement lip. I really think it balances your face, and allows you to go a little lighter on the eyes (which is nice for the office).

Honestly, this lasts through multiple cups of coffee, and even lunch.

It really is a stain, and in this color especially, it darkens as you leave it on.

My one complaint about the product (well all jumbo lip pencils really) is there is no way to sharpen it. Once you use up the initial half an inch or so  it's much wider, and doesn't allow for quite as much precision.

But over all, I adore this product, and plan on picking up quite a few more shades.

Have y'all tried it? Or any other lip products? I'd love to know!!!

I've been thinking about taking part in this program for a while, but I just don't know if it's worth it to me. I wear minimal makeup, but when I go out or dress up, I go all out. What do you think? Worth it, or stick to my essentials?

So is there just the tip then if you can't sharpen it??

Love that color on you!

LOVE it! I don't have the jumbo one but I have the double-ended one and I love it!!

I love these lip stains. I also like Clinique Chubby Stick, a little spendy but worth it!

Ooh I'll have to buy one and test it out! This summer, I've been loving L'Oreal Colour Riche SPF 15 Balm in Caring Coral. Not too much colour, but so smooth and great protection from the elements!

It look GREAT, but I tend to steer more towards the stains with brushes or wand...that way you don't have to worry about the sharpening like you said. I really do love it on you though! The brighter the better! ;)

Love a bold lip and this color looks great on you!! I want to try it but the whole not being able to sharpen situation is making me hold back.

Twist from the bottom. You don't sharpen them. Same goes for tarte. I did a review of them and love them too

I wish I could wear bright lip colors but I always feel silly. I don't think it matches my skin tone ?

I have been on the fence about this product so I love that you've reviewed it. It looks similar to the Clinique lip stain crayons but I don't think mine gives me so much color. What color was yours out of curiosity? You look lovely!

I always think lip color looks terrible on me, but I love that this isn't overpowering!

no, you twist the bottom of the crayon and more comes out... it's just not finely sharpened like it is at the very top.

good to know!

My color is sweetheart. It's definitely on the brighter end of the spectrum, but I've been really happy with the pigmentation. I picked it up when Ulta was having a buy 1 get one 50% off sale, so it made it easier to go crazy.

I know what you mean, I totally used to be like that. It's all about what you're comfortable with. but I think if my pale complexion can handle it (at least I hope I'm handling it), you can too.

I say go for it, it's really not that much of an issue, there is a ton of product, and it's no thicker than any other traditional lipstick.

I'm a big fan of Tarte lip stain and cheek stain too! I'll be sure to check out the Revlon version because I always like a good deal :)

Love that color! I normally don't wear color but this looks so easy to wear, I might just have to try it!

I'm not much of a lip gloss girl, but I tried a stain from one of the Birchboxs and liked it. This revlon one looks great on you too so I'll have to try this one.
