Mardi Gras and a Giveaway! CLOSED

Guess what starts TODAY????

Yay! You thought I was done with all the black tie gala's after the Inauguration? Ha. Lies. Tonight starts a three day extravaganza of mardi gras craziness in the District of Columbia. So for the next three nights I'll be dancing until the whee hours of the morning at the Washington Hilton.

So... just because I love y'all I'm going to get a box of mardi gras swag together and send it off to you to in time to celebrate the real mardi gras in a week or so. You can expect lots of beads, koozies and maybe a few other surprises.

Oh and don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Twitter for some real time fun updates.

I had no clue Washignton did it's own Mardi Gras! Why did I not find out about it before I left the East Coast. Jeez! Also, Im a sucker for some king cake

I have never really done Mardi Gras, and we have a HUGE one here in Galveston. I think I might take my kiddo to the munchkin parade.

Yahooooo! I've never been to NOLA for Mardi Gras and I'm kind of OK with it. NOLA is one of my favorite cities in the world, but I can only take so much chaos. i wouldn't mind eating a King cake right about now though. xo

Total tie between king cake & moonpies. I have this weird thing, though, that I HATE the "brand name" moonpies and only like the buddy brand. Haha. Silver wrappers only, please! Have SUCH a blast!

My favorite thing is the King Cake. I've always wanted to find a plastic baby Jesus in my food, not choke on it, and then get crowned.
