I got this idea from Erin a few weeks ago and I told her I'd be sure to follow up with my own "If you knew me in real life according to facebook" post. So here we go.
If you knew me in real life...
You'd know that this was the best summer ever.
Africa 2007 |
That I'm the kind of girl who wears jewel encrusted sunglasses on safari in Africa.
Africa 2007 |
That I can be super gangster.
Spain 2008 |
That I I'm the kind of girl who likes to take naps on the grass is Paris.
Paris 2008 |
That I have two sisters (I don't think they've ever made an appearance on this blog so hi girls!)
Atlanta, 2008 |
That the metro still freaks me out after living here for almost 4 years.
DC, 2009 |
That I LOVE Georgia Football
Athens, GA |
I fell in love with Spain and traveling when I was 16.
Spain, 2004 |
That I met Teddy Geiger when I was 17. Highlight of my life, yet to be topped.
Atlanta, 2006 |
That I'm pretty into politics (though I bet you already knew that)
DC, 2010 |
Charlotte, 2012 |
That my best friend is a Republican
Athens 2008 |
That I'm enamored by anything that sparkles and glitters (though again, I think y'all might have gotten that impression of me at this point).
2012 |
That I enjoy baking...
2010 |
That these girls are my favorite.
2010 |
2013 |
That I'm a pretty good beer drinker....
2012 |
And still play drinking games...
2011 |
Boom. Now you know me according to Facebook. What do you think? Do you still want to be my blog friend? I sure hope so. For more of these shennanigans you should like me on facebook too.

Very cute! Love all your travels!
Great post!!! love all the pictures!! You have a such a beautiful smile!!! I kinda feel like people don't smile like that around here. Maybe I just see alot of grumpy people everyday!!
Love this!!! I think I want to be your blog friend even more now that I know this!
Haha yayyy I'm so glad you did this! At first I was like wait what did I do about Facebook and my life? But I got it now haha. P.S. you need to take me on all of these amazing adventures you are living the dream girlfriend. And the DC system is nothing compared to NYC oh man.
Naps (and drinking wine) on the grass in Paris is one of my favourite activities too! xo
Love this! I wish we could go back to that open bar and the lopro-jrea wedding and actually make it to midget madness this time.
I am a little sad that your "still playing drinking games"photo is NOT one from our fantastic, recent game of EDWARD. I will only forgive you if we can play again sometime within the next 30 days.
Love,

Love it. And of course! The penis cake and Barack support seal the deal.
What an awesome post! Who doesn't love a lady that can drink a beer! I am so glad that your blog is helping me get to know you better!
Happy Monday girlie!

It was great getting to know more about you! Speaking of Teddy Geiger, the other day I had one of his songs stuck in my head and I started wondering what he's been up to. Random.
Oh and you know what's even more random? Over the weekend I had a dream and you were in it! You were doing some live webcast or something with Liz from Megan & Liz and I walked by and was like "omg it's Emily!." hahaha. Yeah, I never have dreams, but when I do, they're ridiculously random.
Woooot! Go DAWGS!!!
That first picture is absolutely amazing, reminds me of my time in the dominican republic.
This is awesome! Africa, Spain and France...you are so well traveled! Spending time in Africa sounds like a dream! So glad you shared this! And drinking games...I love some flip cup! :-)

love this idea! and that your best friend is a republican.
Ugh, that dang metro. SO confusing. I always make sure I have someone with me that can tell me where to go because unless I can stay on the same line the whole way, I'm going to get lost.
