Happy Independence Day, Celebrate with a {Giveaway}

As you all obviously know, neon is the trend of the season. Now, I'm not normally one to jump on the latest trend, my style is a tad more conservative and I tend to lean towards classics. For months now I've been sitting on the sidelines, skeptically admiring all of you rocking the neon trend in full force. I was trolling etsy the other day, and I think I've finally found some neon I can get behind wholeheartedly.

Let me introduce you to

The ladies behind Rocks Paper Metal are super talented. Based in Los Angles, they are on point with their neon offerings... (and y'all have heard that tribal jewelry is about to catch on fire, they've got you there too).

Tropical Green and Lilac Double Wrap Friendship Bracelet
I love how they blend girly glitter and sparkles with the brights neons of the moment.

Neon Pink Tribal Bracelet

Neon Orange Teardrop Crystals with Neon Pink Pave with Neon Green Cord

Tribal Neon Thread Wrapped Bangle Set
These pieces are the perfect pop of color if you're like me and afraid to go all out with the neon. OR you can step it up a notch and go all out.

The ladies at Rocks Paper Metal have graciously offered to give one Blue Dog Belle reader these beauties.
Neon Yellow Crystal Teardrop Silver Stud

They come in a bunch of fun colors too!  You can enter via the Rafflecopter widget below. The giveway is open from now until 11:59 pm on July 10.

A Giveaway Winner and the Congressional Baseball Game

First off, happy Monday! Thanks to everyone who entered the Rouge and Co giveaway! It was a HUGE success! Now what you've all been waiting for... the winners....

Congrats to two of my favorite blogging ladies! Shanna and Tracy! Congrats ladies. Send me an email and I will get you more information.

Last Thursday was the Annual Congressional Baseball game. Several members of Congress come together for the ultimate partisan showdown, where it really matters, on the baseball field. Being the connected washington insider that I am, I was invited to a pre-game reception at the Nationals Stadium.

This was actually my first time to the nats stadium this season. Crazy. I know. I really need to go more often. If you've never been there, the nats stadium is gorgeous! Opened up a few years ago, and no offense to turner field, but it's kind of way better... sorry atlanta.

Cheering for the Blue Team!

Rocking some political swag. Cspan hat, Ford focus glasses, defend my dividend koozie. Love free stuff!

The Dems killed it. I mean, we are talking mercy rule in the 4th inning. I believe the final score was 18 to 5. After the blow out last year (8-0 dems) the republicans are hurting. Hopefully this is a precursor to the November elections and the Dems sweep the House, Senate and the White House.
